Short answer - No
Long answer - If power / energy (monitoring) and management is required it’s easier and more efficient by installing a dedicated unit that use CT’s.
The (CT) Current Transformer simply clips over a branch circuit in the service panel or using an approved cUL split cord plug.
A true energy monitor will allow you to adjust (dial in) the input line voltage. Any hardware that doesn’t reference or allow you to adjust the input line voltage is a waste of time and gathered data.
Once in place these units can provide critical insight about low, high, average, peak, inrush values. That cover voltage, power, current, PF, KWH.
Having the ability to see live real-time power draw and consumption can’t be overstated! Never mind being able to recall days, weeks, months, years of historical data.
Once known the facility can design or manage their infrastructure better and reduce energy consumption and waste.
During a grid down event having this empirical data allows you to know how long backup systems will operate for given an ever changing power draw.
