Dear Support Team,
We have recenly Purchased couple of units with same type (SURTD3000XLI).
I just want to share the temperature sensor between two units.
If this is not possible then pls let me know is there any possibility to get Temperature details from another ups unit where Sensor is connected?
My Ultimate goal is to shutdown the servers when temperature increases to assigned value.
IP address of UPS 1 : 10.0.2.x
IP address of UPS 2 : 10.0.2.x
Thanks
Srinivas

Hi,
Each UPS would need to have its own temperature probe connected to its own Network Management Card.
Here is a knowledge base on this topic -> http://www.apc.com/support/index?page=content&country=ITB〈=en&locale=en_US&id=FA156076
Are you planning to have these units installed separately/standalone or do you have dual power corded equipment and plan to install PowerChute Network Shutdown in a redundant configuration where the PowerChute clients monitor both UPS units?
