Hello everyone,
I have a Back-UPS XS 950U connected through USB to a Linux machine, where I am using apcupsd. As clients right now I only have one device, a pfSense firewall running a NUT, where I am getting status under network from apcupsd.
This Linux machine has a shutdown when battery reachs 15% and I am trying to do the same with a Windows 10 machine, to get UPS status and execute shutdowns like the Linux machine, but I seriusly dont know how can I do it under GUI. I have tried to install Powerchute network shutdown, but when I try to add both IP and port of the apcupsd server, it simply doesnt detect any server there.
How do you usually do this in Windows 10 machines?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Fábio,
PowerChute Network Shutdown works with the APC Network Management Card (AP9630, AP9631) installed into a SmartUPS UPS.
You're using a BackUPS so there isn't an APC-supported solution for network shutdown. Since you're already using APCUPSd (third party product) on your linux machine, perhaps try running it on the Windows system as well?
