We recently purchased NICs for the SUA750's. We also purchased two brand new smart UPS 1500 with NICs.
I am confused on how to go about configuring a server so that it gracefully shuts down when the power to the UPS gets cut off.
Where in the NIC web management is this option? Or Do I have to install the powerchute agent on the server?

you will have the network management card configured and the software you need to install on your clients you want to gracefully shutdown is powerchute network shutdown. powerchute business edition is only for use with the serial cables or USB options and should not be used at the same time or as the graceful shutdown software when already using a network management card.
by default, when you install the software and provide the IP of the NMC in the UPS, then they communicate over the network for status updates (on battery, low battery, etc) and then the UPS will signal the client to shutdown when the UPS has a low battery, which by default is when 2 minutes of runtime remain. if this won't work for you, you can raise the low battery setting in the network management card and/or change shutdown settings or shutdown trigger events in the powerchute network shutdown interface on your individual clients.
