We have a SmartUPS VT 30K (SUVTF30KB4F) Which just recently started failing self tests with the message "Weak Battery"
What is the best way to determine which Battery module/s are the cause and need replacing? The operations manual simple gives the instruction to "replace the weak batteries" but does not give any way of determining which modules might be causing the error. Ive gone through all the status and diagnostic menus on the unit as well as in the AP9619 web interface but nothing obvious stuck out.
Thank You

Hello. I just checked with the 3 phase support team for some ideas on how to proceed.
How old are these batteries? If they are older like 2-3 years old, you'll likely be ready for a replacement on all of them. It is not good practice to replace older batteries one by one because the old batteries will damage the new ones over the course of a few months and then you'll still have to replace all of them, including the new ones you added to the system.
If these are new, then you may have some luck measuring the voltage on each one to see if there is one significantly lower than the other one but you may not see an issue with that because the battery won't be under a load (like what a self test does). The batteries themselves have a one year warranty I think.
If there is an issue going on here beyond what I mentioned, the 3 phase support rep suggested emailing or calling their team to dig in further and check warranty status, etc.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
