How can I push username & password to my devices with Data Center Expert?

I want to replace the default password on all my devices without have to do it manual on every device.

Hi Mathieus,

In DCE there is a feature of mass configuration of our devices. You can create a template and then push this template to all the devices. But, it does not work when you are trying to update password credentials. The KBase FA156151 explains this.

However, there is a KBase FA156117 that details how to mass configure our APC NMC cards. The link for the KBase is below:

Also, please note this does not work at all (for usernames or passwords) for NMC2 v6.X.X firmware on devices due to the multi-user capability and lack of storage of user credentials in the config.ini.

The knowledge base on doing it for standalone cards though may still be an option since DCE does not yet support the new way in v6.X.X at all.
