Hi,
I have a SMT2200 connected via USB to a PC. Prior to installing the PowerChute Business Edition Agent, Windows 8.1 detected the UPS and would let me natively check the UPS battery level and assign how and when the UPS would shutdown Windows. However, after installing the PowerChute Business Edition Agent all of those options went away.
Is it normal for this to occur after installing the PCBE Agent? Is the PCBE Agent now only way to now communicate with the UPS (e.g., via http://127.0.0.1:3052 or http://
Thank you.

Hi,
You should log into the web interface and configure PCBE through that. If you would like to see a demo go to http://testdrive.apc.com and select PowerChute Business Edition - Agent.

Hi,
When you install PowerChute Business Edition Agent the native power options are disabled. You can access the UPS via the Agent web interface http://127.0.0.1:3052, https://127.0.0.1:6547, http://

Okay, but how do I program the UPS to control how Windows is shut down? Is the only way by modifying the default.cmd file found under "Initial Setup - Shutdown Setting" -> "Operating System and Application Shutdown" -> "Choose Command File?"
Thanks.
