Display dark, does not light up. unplug and plug back again, it does not go in sleep mode again. then, menu /display/ shows firmware N/A.
Hints?!?!?!
Thank you
Mihail

Hi,
We're talking about the display. Usually it goes to sleep mode and the lights turn off.

i just wanted to be clear - does the backlight come and no text or no backlight? you said it does not light up but then indicate you accessed the display menu.
i would try another Cat 5 cable between the UPS and the powerview to start if you haven't.

Good morning,
So, the issue is the display sleeping mode. first goes dark, but shows the info. then I disconnected and reconnected the cat5 cable, all came up ok, but, now it does not go off. and in the menu, display option, instead of showing firmware level and status, it shows N/A for both.
thanks
mihail

what does not go off? do you have a spare display or spare cable to try? can you access the UPS successfully via the network connection? it could be that the UPS is not providing data to the display as well.
