Recently, I noticed that there are frequent reconnection monitoring in PowerChuite BE v9.5.0.301.
Connection with a computer via USB.
Are frequent monitoring reconnections normal and are not a hardware error?
What you need to do to fix this?

Hi,
The error indicates something on the Windows 10 system is causing the PowerChute service to stop. The way to troubleshoot is to determine what is happening on the system when the service stops and what is causing the service to restart. Also did you look in the system event viewer to see if anything is being logged?

Hi,
PowerChute runs as a service and is started automatically when the OS boots. Monitoring stopped and started indicates the service is stopping and restarting. If the OS is not being rebooted you should look in Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Event Viewer - Applications to see if anything is being logged as to why the service is being stopped.

The OS did not reboot when the monitoring service reconnected.
Noticed the frequent reconnection of the service in Logs began as soon as I selected in the Event Configuration items:
Connection established, Monitoring started and Monitoring stopped
Once I have disabled these items, the Logs of PowerChute no longer displays reconnection events of the monitoring service.
It's strange! Why such behavior?

I noticed for daily stops of the PowerChuite monitoring service with errors / warnings in the log file!
Connection with a computer via USB. The computer worked all this time around the clock and did not reboot.
Why do such errors and warnings of the PowerChuite agent service in the log and how to fix it?
Thanks
