I've been trying to download the latest firmware for my AP9617's from ftp://ftp.apc.com/restricted/hardware/nmcard/firmware/sumx/372/apc_hw02_aos373_sumx372.exe but I keep getting 'could not connect' errors. If I connect to the FTP site ans browse around using an FTP client that path doesn't exist, and I also cannot find the necessary files by browsing the folders.
Does anyone know if the site is down, or moved?
Cheers.

We do have an ISA server, but I don't know how that would stop me, it never used to. however as I now know that this isn't a global issue I can take this up directly with our firewall team.
Thanks for your help, and thanks for the link.

that path requires a username and password which is not present in your link you pasted.
are you able to go and download from http://www.apc.com/tools/download/index.cfm ?
when you download from here, then if you want to, copy and paste the download link with the username when you are presented with the download link.
the site is not down.

That is where I got the ftp link from.
I should've explained a bit better. I went to http://www.apc.com/tools/download/index.cfm and chose to download the firmware.
The next page asks me which version of the firmware I want, so I choose to download the smart ups version.
The site prompted me to login, which I do successfully.
The next page asks me to click to download now, which I do.
The next page says:
ISA Server: extended error message :
200 Type set to I
227 Entering Passive Mode (64,212,193,151,143,8)
550 /restricted/hardware/nmcard/firmware/sumx/372/apc_hw02_aos373_sumx372.exe: No such file or directory
When I browse through the website using an ftp client I can see that the path isn't valid. I have tried logging into the ftp server using my login details but it fails to authenticate, but will happily authenticate me as a guest.
