Recently we attached an extra battery frame to our new Symmetra LX. This frame was previously used at another location, but the batteries tested out okay.
The chasis displays "E-0" on the front and just blinks. What does that mean, and why does APC refuse to publish meanings for the codes and messages?
Please help with some insight to what that means.

E0 means that there is a voltage difference between the main frame and the XR frame, 3% voltage diff. What does the main frame report for the battery capacity? It could be that the batteries needs a good charge. My suggestion is to check the battery capacity, and if it is not at or close to 100 percent, I would let it charge until it is. Once the capacity is high enough, the E0 message will go away.

Charging it all week did not change a thing. The EO is still flashing, voltage on the Extra frame is 130v. Where do you check battery capacity?

Root,
With the 2nd frame plugged into the mainframe, take a voltmeter reading from the input connector on the frame (sometimes its covered by a blanking plate that will need to be removed). This should match the voltage that is reported from the PowerView display - choose the status menu and scroll down until you see "Battery Voltage". If this does not match, then the problem lies with the frame.
