We had a battery alarm on one of our small 450 units (rack mounted) I went down and replaced the battery..
Now we cannot clear the Discharged Battery Alarm, and the following message appears even though the Battery capacity is showing as 100%..
====================================================
Input Voltage: 241.9 VAC
Output Voltage: 239.0 VAC
Runtime Remaining: 0 minutes
Last Battery Transfer: Due to software command or UPS's test control
=======================
Discharged Battery
The battery power is too low to support the load; if power fails, the UPS will be shut down immediately.
========================
We also we did the runtime calibration.. (didnt make any difference) The unit has Passed a self test
Any ideas anyone ???

a couple questions come to mind..
1.) how did you initiate a runtime calibration? how was it performed? how long did the calibration force the UPS on battery for?
2.) where did this "new" battery come from? purchased new from APC? has been it been sitting for a while?
3.) how long has the battery been charging now? do you have a voltmeter to test the voltage on the actual battery?

So I have the same problem.
0 Minutes runtime available, But if I pull the power cable the UPS runtime is 10 mins plus.
Both the calibration tests passed and I updated the battery replacement date also.
Also once the power is restored the runtime remaining doesn't update, battery charge will drop though to 60% for example. But later once charged shows 100% again.
I removed all the cables that the UPS feeds, Switched off and restarted the UPS again, No change.
