I'm trying to put an Network Management Card AP9619 in a SURT3000.
To configure it I download Device IP Configuration Wizard software from APC site.
I'm using WindowsXT SP3 on my computer.
After software installation - it reports a successful installation - I'm not able to run it. When I double click on the icon it seems that intents to star the application but, a while after, all activity dies and nothing happens.
Does anyone knows can I fix this?

we have a new version of the Device IP wizard 5.0.0 that finds configured and unconfigured devices but you need to know what IP range to search.
what version of the wizard did you install? 5.0.0? what OS version/language did you install on?

I have never had much luck with that program, probably because the devices I've been trying to configure have been previously used! I believe the Network Config Wizard will only work with unused devices.
The easiest method to setup the AP9619 would be to attach to the serial port using the correct APC cable (ie 0024), get your IP config done on the card, then connect over your network and finish the other configs as required. If you don't have a serial connection to your laptop/pc then use a USB serial adaptor.
Regards
John

Hi John
Thanks for your help.
What I didn't say is that I was trying to communicate with this card because I lost communication through RS232.
