Hi,
I am trying to configure Smart-UPS 1500 RM for Nagios. But there is only "SNMP problem - No data received from host" message in Nagios, and "Detected an unauthorized user attempting to access the SNMP interface from Nagios_IP" in UPS Log file.
How this should be configured?, because currently I have checked "Enable SNMPv1 access" box: in Configuration -> Network -> SNMPv1 -> Access
and I have added Nagios IP address in: Configuration -> Network -> SNMPv1 -> Access Control.
what is wrong?
Network Management Card AOS: v6.2.0
Smart-UPS & Matrix-UPS APP: v6.2.0

This message means that Nagios is trying to access the Network Management Card but they are unauthorized to so the request is denied. So, Nagios is trying to read or write when it does not have permission to (do you have a configuration in the NMC to both read and write?), or the community name/string for the permission does not match. You can also leave the IP address as 0.0.0.0 in the Network Management Card for each read/write as a test to see if anything changes as that will allow any IP to access it because it could also be caused by an IP address that is being blocked (which I know you said you added it to the Network Management Card configuration).

You need to verify the community names/strings are set properly on Nagios and on the NMC under Configuration->Network->SNMPv1->Access Control. The defaults are public and private and you may need to change those if they have been changed on Nagios side (which leaving them as default is not typically good practice for security reasons).
Here are some screenshots:
Mine is not configured. So, I'd click on the hyperlink for public,
Then, edit 'public' to match what is programmed in the Nagios Communty name/string settings for read access. Repeate for Write/Write+ access as necessary.
This message is basically telling you that Nagios is trying to read and/or write data but is not authorized to because something is set wrong. After you verify the community names, verify they match the access type like I mentioned - meaning if you want to write, make sure the community name or string you have in Nagios matches the NMC configuration for write access.
