Detected an unauthorized user attempting to access the Control Console interface from serial port

I keep getting notifications about an unauthorized user attempting to access the Control Console interface from the serial port.  We don't have anything connected to the serial port.  I have currently turned off email notifications but would like to know why it's happening and if there's a fix.

What model is the UPS, what model is the interface, and what firmware is it running interface?

The AP9640 ships with a USB to Micro-USB console cable. When the cable is attached to a Windows system the cable is added as a com port.

When a user attempts to connect to the card via the cable unsuccessfully five times, the error you are seeing is recorded.

The issue is that we keep getting that message, but we have nothing connected to serial/USB. We're using the network connection to manage it.  There is nothing connecting to it via serial/USB.
