Dear All,
When I use the APC network Management card to make a schedule time to shutdown and schedule time to reboot the server, it’s working with shutdown only but for reboot is not working.
I am using with my Dell Server PowerEdge 2950 with:
-OS Microsoft Windows 2003 R2
-PowerChute Network Shutdown version 2.2.1
-APC Network Management Card:
Model Number AP9619
Application Module
Name: sumx
Version: v3.5.5
APC OS (AOS)
Name: aos
Version: v3.5.5
I would appreciated if someone have any idea in this issue,
Best Regards;
Boly

The shutdown and reboot is with regards to the UPS. When you schedule the shutdown, it does signal the powerchute clients to shutdown your system and then the UPS afterwards. Then, when you schedule everything to come back on, the UPS simply turns on and provides power to the servers. This is where the trick comes in.
What you need to do is configure your server BIOS to basically "Turn on when power is present." Please contact your server manufacturer for instructions on how to do so.
