I am trying to create a certificate to import into a sc 450 ups. I am using the security wizard and after I go through my CA and create the .cer file when I try to import the signed certificate I get the following message 'Error importing cert, code: -32'. Any ideas what that message means?

Hi,

Hi,
There is some information on this error here: http://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA285378
We are actively working on a problem specific to using Microsoft Certificate Authority also.
But, this APC Security Wizard tool you're using is only for use with APC Network Management Cards. As far as I know, a SC450 Smart-UPS works with PowerChute Business Edition as it does not have a SmartSlot where you can install an APC Network Management Card.
For importing a SSL Certificate for use with PowerChute Business Edition, I think these instructions apply: http://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA165288

Steve - Can you verify the exact model SC450 you have?

If I log into the UPS and look at the About page the model is listed as a Smart-UPS SC450 RM. It has firmware version 736.1.D. I know they use a self signed ssl cert and I guess I could use that but when I turn https on I get a mismatch error.
