Dear All,
I have four racks of IBM. Two racks are consuming 8kW and two are consuming 6kW. I have added two units of ACRP102 (29kW). One cooling unit would run and the other would be redundant standby.
Please let me know that the following cooling units placement is all OK OR I need to relocate them...
RRCCRR
Left side both racks are 6kW and right side both racks are 8kW.
Further, In the DC room there is no other racks. Therefore, we need to place the racks and cooling units in a single row. Room dimension is LXWXH = 32 X 12 X 12
I am waiting for your valuable response.
Regards,
War

Hello. The only thing I would be concerned about is getting proper airflow to the far rack from the cooling unit that is on. Also making sure that the hot exhast air from the servers is getting back to the unit that is on and not returning to the front of the racks. I would make sure the units are grouped as there may be a need to have load assist on to make sure all the servers are getting enough cool air at the ends of the isle. Make sure there are blanking panels in the racks for any gaps between the servers.
Thank you
