APC AP7901 failed after attempted firmware update

I have an AP7901.  I went to update the firmware on the unit today, and now the web server, telnet and FTP server no longer respond.  I do have serial access.

I tried to update the unit to 3.7.4.  Everything seemed to go ok, but then it stopped responding. 

I have verified that the web, ftp, and telnet services are started.  When you try to connect, it prompts for a username, then terminates the connection.  When you attempt to hit the web interface, you either get nothing, or sometimes the response on the attached screenshot.

How do I fix this? 

I'd appreciate any help.

Hello,

You should redo the upgrade manually via one of the methods outlined in the article below. If you can get FTP to work, I'd try that way (making sure your FTP client is in binary transfer mode). Otherwise, try XMODEM via serial connection (which you can change the baud rate beforehand to speed it up).

Quick question though:  What does Stat:  P+ N+ A+ mean?
