Reading around im starting to believe my company has messed up purchasing some UPSs (these were all bought before I started here).
Two of these were purchased:

Which our Cisco 4507 was supposed to be plugged into. Well today I went to look at the plugs and we have L6-20s male plugs at the end of the power cables for the Cisco power supplies and the UPS have L5-30r female plugs.
Am I up the creek without a paddle? 😞 If not what options do I have besides the obvious "go buy a ups with L6-20 female connectors" 😛
Thanks!

No worries, like I said this was purchase before I came here. Just need to break the bad news that those several thousand dollar UPS wont work with the Cisco devices.

yes, this is a problem because L5 indicates 120 volts and L6 indicates 208 volts so you cant simply just change the voltage on the device unfortunately. certain devices are able to run on either 120v or 208v but they generally utilize IEC type connectors.
i would say you are going to need a UPS that outputs 208v and there is no way you can make this 120v UPS work for this situation.

😞 sorry. if it was a difference of L6-20 to L6-30 or something it would be workable but the voltage isnt.
