Connect a second UPS...

Hi Guys !

I have installed on one of our servers the "PowerChute Business Edition Deluxe".

I connected the first UPS and the application deteced it and that works great.

When I connect the second UPS the application does not detect this one ?

I tried to put the second UPS on another server, when I try to add the device either by IP address or hostname, that does'nt work...

Can I put two UPS on the same server ? Is someone could help me ?

UPS Specifications*:
- APC Smart-UPS 1500VA USB & Serial RM 2U 120V
- Back-UPS VS 500 Broadband

What is the model # of the "Back-UPS VS 500 Broadband" ? Based on what I can tell, it's a BF500BB. This unit doesn't work with powerchute business edition. This unit will only work with powerchute personal edition. Either way, one computer/server cannot communicate with two UPS' using our software. Your smart ups unit has an option for a network management card that will allow you to manage the UPS over the network.

Only Smart-Ups Are Compatible With APC Powerchute Business Edition
