What can I do to set up one config that has all of our notification settings to multiple 9617s? Can I just use one config.ini?. I only want certain events within the event heirarchy (not every warning and not every critical) and doing this piecemeal will take forever and be prone to errors. Can I edit a single config.ini file and upload that or use that User Configuration File (ini) upload feature on the 9617? the config.ini file probably can't be bulk copied to each since it has the unique IP address, etc.
If I can't do anything easy, what part of the config.ini file can I just copy and paste into other config.ini files that is the Notification settings only?
thanks!

I found the Readme that's included and have uploaded a config.ini to several units. One thing I've noticed is it overwrites the notification settings AND the device name. So when you get alerted, the IP is correct in the alert but the name itself is the same for everything now.
Another thing, I got several alerts from each device after they were upgraded saying "an external battery pack has been installed" and a few SNMP configuration change alerts, even though these are disabled in notifications. I was using version 1.0 of the utility, is there a newer version available anywhere?

Hello,
The utility which you will want to use is the INIUtility. That will allow you to upload one config file to multiple devices, but only specific sections which are different on every card. That can be found when you unpack the firmware, or here:
ftp://ftp.apc.com/apc/public/hardware/nmcard/firmware/

Give me some time, I'll do a long look for it on Monday. It has to be in a manual somewhere.
