Communication Loss observed in Console: a concern re Device settings?
i am using PowerChute Business Edition Deluxe (v.9.0.1), with my APC Smart-UPS 1500VA USB & Serial 230V (model:SUA1500i), a PC desktop and Dell monitor. The PowerChute console often shows Communication Lose between my computer and UPS - a question mark next to UPS and my computer, while often there's a green check to suggest communication is on.
Should i be concerned about this in terms of PowerChute NOT enabling the Device Properties settings that i have configured?

Hi minimal, yes I would be concerned with that message. If the UPS losses communication and a power event were to happen then the ups would nto be able to properly shut down the computer. What type of communication are you using (usb or serial) and what operating system is the software installed on?
