This weekend we are preparing a cutover to support the installation of a diesel generator. During the cutover we will run on UPS power for a short period of time. While on UPS power I would still like to monitor the UPS via the web interface, however, to do that I would need to allow the UPS to stay available on the network. During the cutover I do not want PowerChute Network Shutdown to initiate a node shutdown. I would like to disable the network shutdown feature from the UPS side, rather than at every node in the network. I can easily remove all the client IP’s on the UPS management card and add them back in afterwards and am wondering if this is sufficient to stop the PCNS client software from initiating the shutdown. Will that work?

This UPS server the entire data center in which I do not want any nodes to shutdown, so I would remove ALL entries so that there will be no broadcast to the subnet. Only 10 entries as it sits right now so not a big deal for me to re-enter them.
