Business Edition & Back-UPS Pro 1500?
Have an APC Back-UPS Pro 1500 (BRG1500)
From what I understand you can't use the Powerchute Business Edition however I've seen threads mentioning there are exceptions and people saying PCBE wouldn't recognize their UPS. PCBE recognizes mine but I can't add it to - it justs errors out with a fairly generic can't add message and there's nothing in the logs indicating the reason.
Now if the software is rejecting it because it's not the right model, then I'm a bit pissed as why can't it say that in the error message (lots of wasted time.)
But, if by recognizing it, it means it should work with PCBE - then how do I troubleshoot.
Bottom line is I need to run a shutdown.bat file when it goes to shutdown the computer and from what I understand only PCBE has this feature?
