Just bought a Smart-UPS SMC1500C from Amazon. Plugged it into the wall, kind of forgot about it. We just had our first power failure; the computer stayed on, but the UPS alarm was going off constantly and flashing a battery. Finally found a two-ended downstream USB cable (seriously?) so I could plug it in to the PC. I see now it says the battery is 0.0% charged, which hasn't changed in the last hour, with an output voltage of 27.3. Looks like the battery isn't taking a charge? Do I send it back?
