Brand new APC SMX750 - cracked LCD - possible to get a replacement?

Hi APC,

I bought an APC SMX750 brand new but open box from eBay and unfortunately the LCD came cracked internally. Is it possible to get a replacement part from APC? The seller is uncooperative.

Hi Maksim,

You can contact CoastTec(https://coasttec.com/) to have the unit repaired, unfortunately units that are purchased from an eBay seller doesn't have warranty on it.

I don't believe we offer this LCD as a sellable/user replacable part either but APC tech support could double check that for you to be absolutely sure.

How are warantees transfered if a unit is bought from another provider?  Is there some documentation required so that the normal time period of warantee is in effect?
