Best practice to shutdown 3 servers with 1 smart UPS

Hiking in Style, Why Not?

Spending some time in the woods every once in a while, would help you calm the mind and the soul from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The fact that you can’t load your Instagram or Facebook when in nature makes it even more fascinating. You will feel more ‘connected’ with the world you’re living in, as well as the people around you.

So, people tend to choose clothes that are comfortable and loose-fitting to wear when going hiking. However, sometimes the outfit and comfort don’t really go together.

We all love hiking. At the same time, we also want to look appropriate when doing so; and we must say, it’s hard! In today’s article, we’re going to find out how to make your style work on hiking outfits.

➨➨➨ See Also: Good Pants For Hiking

What Kind of Pants to Choose when Going Hiking?

First of all, it depends on how far you are going. If it’s just a few-miles hike from where you live, we assume wearing gym clothes is acceptable. They’re comfy, they’re right there in your closet, and they’re stylish!

If you want some pictures for the ‘gram,’ go for it. However, if you plan to go on a longer trail, be more thoughtful. At this point, the function is prioritized over the form.

We think you’ve heard this before: cotton kills. This material absorbs a lot of moisture and dries very slowly, which means you will feel the wetness most of the time wearing cotton.

However, there are several opinions about this. If you go for a hike on a cold, rainy day, or simply just get yourself wet crossing the river or whatsoever, you’ll feel miserable, or worse, it will leave a bad impact on your health.

On the other hand, on hot, dry days, cotton is actually a good pick. The moisture from cotton will keep you cool for a long time as it evaporates slowly. This is only good if you’re okay with the feel of the wet fabric against the skin.

So, for a long hike, what should you wear?

First of all, you’ll need the Best Rated Hiking Pants. There are many factors contributing to making the best outdoor pants. Of course, there is no such thing as ‘best.’ The word we need to use here is ‘suitable.’ The most suitable is simply the best.

A good pair of hiking pants should not tear or rip easily as you will be wearing them for quite some time. Also, they should be water-resistant in case you have to cross a river or get caught in the rain. Last but not least, pay close attention to the material. We suggest nylon or polyester as these two are renowned for helping your body regulate temperature very well.

We recommend you check out the prAna Stretch Zion collection. They have hiking clothes for both men and women, with distinctive designs resulting in them being every hiker’s favorite brand.

Bottom Line

Finding Good Backpacking Pants to match your style is not an easy thing, but it can be done when you put out some effort reading and researching.

Of course, when it comes to style, there are many other factors to consider like tops or accessories; but the aim of our article today is mostly focused on choosing the best pants to hike in, and we hope it helped you to have a better understanding about hiking pants.

Thank you for reading.

Hi Ruben,

There's a few way to do this but the two options I would use are to either install Powerchute Business Edition on the server that is connected via USB/Serial and then have PCBE run a script at shutdown that will signal the other two machines to shutdown (not officially supported) or investing a NMC2 or 3 which will allow you to install Powerchute Network Edition on each server. This will allow the UPS to talk directly to all three servers.

apcupsd on one server talking to the UPS and the other 2 servers slaved to it?

Network card in the SUA2200 using the PCNS shutdown protocol to talk to each server?

I don't do windows, so apcupsd is a no-brainer, but I believe it's compiled for windows also.
