Hi, I'm looking for the difference between SRV1KI and SRC1KI OnLine UPS but can't found this.
I saw the info at APC site some ambiguous. The runtime at 80watts between these models is too different but use the same batteries, how this is possible?
I want to know the FAN behavior. ie: all time on, only when charging/working in battery mode, etc.
I can't found the SRV1KI user manual nor schematics or diagrams.
What functions can be manage via serial/usb port?
Thanks

Sorry a correction neither unit has replaceable battery.
Also I don't have a SRC to hand to know the fan behaviour.

Hi Nacho,
The SRC1KI would be considered a premium product whereas the SRV would be in our more value orientated range.
The SRC support PowerChute Business Edition when connected via serial or usb, the SRV supports UPSCAPO which is not as functional as PCBE. The SRC can also be equipped with a more powerful network card.
One big difference is they do not use the same batteries, and the batteries in the SRV are not user replaceable.
There is also some differences in their electrical characteristics such as input and output voltage range that can be seen when comparing the product pages.

Thankyou Gavan. Both UPS are at the same price in my region. I thought the SRC was and old/deprecated version.
Can anyone talk me about the SRC1KI fan behaviour and the exact battery count and model?
In some document says 36v battery and other says 24v (2*12v@9Ah?). But both units has the same weight (~9,5KG)
Maybe the documentation mixes UPS with external batteries?
