Hi,
Is there a way to display the battery status icon UPS APC Smart 1500 on multiple computers? At the moment the icon / UPS status is displayed only on a computer that is connected to the USB cable. I wish that it appeared on both computers. I'm going to equip the UPS network card in order to close/shutdown the two computers during a power failure across the network. It seems to me that this will be possible in some way to send information and battery status bar. I do not know whether the software APC PowerChute Business Edition will allow, because after you install this software on a computer that is connected via the USB cable to the UPS, after installing the icon disappears completely.
Thanks for your help

Good day berko,
Based on the image attached, you are using the native UPS support option for your computer. If you are going to install a network management card, you'd have to remove the USB cable connected to the UPS. The UPS is designed to communicate only one way, so you'd need to stick with the network management card. To shutdown the 2 computers over the network, you'd need to install [Powerchute Network Shutdown|http://www.apc.com/products/family/index.cfm?id=127]. Although you won't get the same battery icon in the taskbar that tells you how power is provided to the computer, all you have to do is log in to the network management card's interface to check the status of the UPS, battery level, mode of operation etc., the network management card actually provides you how to interface with the UPS.
