Battery Temperature Exceeded upper limit

Fault: "*Battery Temperature Exceeded upper limit*"
Load hovers around *73%-80%*.
Fault LED lit.

What does this message mean ? Does this indicate a battery weakness/failure or sensor issue ? The UPS is a newly commissioned unit.

it means one of the batteries in the unit may be above its normal operating temperature. are you able to touch the front of the batteries to see if any one string is warmer than the other?

i am not that familiar with this unit but it seems like a hot battery issue. if it was newly commissioned, it should certainly be covered under the warranty if it turns out to be a faulty battery.

i would recommend checking the batteries if you can and then you'll probably have to contact support in your region to see if you can have them help you (via phone or service visit)

Hi Angela...

I am facing Batt Temperature Exceeded Upper Limit, Sometime UPS show system failure by Surveillance error after restart it become normal and again Batt Temp error show.   While i have checked all batt temp is normal i have connected batteries one by one row but issue is still exist. Is there any temp sensor in power module??
