We have several older SU1400RM2U units, and one needs a new battery. Can the battery be changed without powering off the UPS? Physically, it's possble to remove the battery and replace it, but is it mandatory to power off the unit to change the battery? It would be nice if I could leave the equipment that's powered by the UPS up and running while I change the battery, but that seems too good to be true. Thanks.

Thanks to Erin for this reply: "Yes, the batteries are hot swappable in all smart ups. After replacing batteries, you need to hold the test button down until you see the on line light flash, then release, and the unit will do a self test on itself, and that tells the unit that it has new batteries."
