I work at a hospital so we always have an "operator" on duty 24/7. This person monitors systems and the datacenter but they are not as familiar with everything as my team is. Has anyone found a good label/labeling system to label racks. (IE: magnetic labels, etc...)?

Hi jdominysgmc,
I see you haven't gotten an answer here, but did you figure out something? I am in search of such an answer myself, it seems to me that most people don't label each individual blades.
I am not a IT Tech by any means, but when I saw 3/4x2" label tape across the front of our Clear Cube cages and theres one for each blade. Now the Tech's have even put another thinner identification label next to that one. Hello? Yup blades are failing left and right and being replace under warranty. That's not right, we're blaming the equipment when it is how we use and care for the equipment is the reason for the failures.
The Reps come to our place from time to time to replace a large quanity of blades, but they are never let into the Server room, hmmm? Wonder why.
So, I stayed late and made a little card off to the side as to not block any air flow and listed all the blades 1-8 then I made a little label and wrapped it around the blade handle itself. So this blocks Zero air flow.
Well our Company bought the APC AR3300's to help with the heat problem, they installed one the other day and quess what? yup huge labels across the front !
Is it me or is that just ridiculous?
