APC does not provide shipping when buying replacement battery packs?

I thought that APC used to send a label to attach to the shipping package when you ordered a replacement battery pack.  I never took advantage of it before, but it seems like they once did.  I just ordered two and neither came with anything other than outdated reference sheets. An older comment said that it was only "trade-ups" and "new batteries" that got the shipping paid for, is there a difference between buying a "replacement battery" and a "new battery?"

Are you talking about the label to recycle your old battery? If so, we still provide that I think - it is just done all online now.

Assuming you're in the US or Canada, at the top of the page after you select your country, look for the following at the top of the page: "For information on how to create your prepaid return label for spent UPS batteries, click here. (United States and Canada only)"

That will take you to the page to create a prepaid return label for your APC RBC. As long as you buy a genuine "RBC" part number from APC or through an authorized reseller, you are eligible for this service. If you have problems, let me know what replacement battery you purchased. Some of the larger Symmetra modules may not be eligible and work differently.

Thank you, I followed the instructions and printed off a label successfully.  I'll be sending the battery in to the recyling company tomorrow.
