I purchased a XS1500 and want to plug in the telephone cable to my iMac so I can have it power down automatically but I cannot figure which telephone jack it goes into on the APC? There are three jacks? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Don,
You should've received a RJ-45 to USB cable. The ends look like this hopefully:

The RJ-45 connector end (shown in the left of the above photo) plugs into the port labeled "data port" on the rear of your UPS. The USB connector goes to your iMac.
The below picture should be generally what the back/rear of your UPS looks like. The "data port" is item #2.
