APC UPS monitoring

I currently have a APC UPS with a management card. I want APC to write to the Windows Event Log everytime the APC tells the clients to gracefully shutdown. How can I do this?

did you install the powerchute network shutdown software on all of your clients you want to shutdown? if you do that, i think it writes that stuff into the windows event viewer and then the powerchute network shutdown software also has a log of its own.
