APC Symmetra Overload Condition
Every day I get 2 or 3 overload condition alerts from my Symmetra RM 6000. The overloads clear themselves exactly 1 second later. When I check the Symmetra's web interface, it shows 50% load in wattage and 27% load in VA. I can't imagine that I actually have double the power usage for 1 second increments coming from servers and SANs. I haven't been able to find any logs worthy of the name to show me *what* was overloaded, if that makes sense. I'd like to know whether the overload was wattage or kVA, neither of which seems likely. Does anyone know where I can look for some real log information or if there's a known issue with these that a firmware fix could resolve?
