Hi,
I found this brochure: http://www.apcmedia.com/salestools/SKAY-9LVKKH/SKAY-9LVKKH_R0_EN.pdf
It seems to indicate the parallel kit provides redundancy, rather than increased/doubled capacity.
Parallel redundancy — Two Units can be placed into a redundant configuration to improve availability (5 – 10 kVA only).

What I tried to explain is that this particular kit is for redundancy/fault tolerance. It does not double the load capacity. With (2) 5kVA UPSs, if one fails/faults/goes down, the other one will still support the load with no interruption. The total load capability is still 5kVA.

Im so happy from your explain Angela, When I see parraleling kit, I think, it does it mean like 3P UPSs paralleling operation.
Now All things clean. This is for If I have 2 x 5kVA UPS, no intteruption working for one at the any problems. Thanks your answer.

No problem and yes, I know the 3 phase paralleling kits work a little differently so I am happy to help clarify.
