Hi,
Can anyone help me out to determine what's wrong with this APC Smart-UPS 3000VA (SUA3000RMI2U-NB)? APC Smart-UPS 3000VA (SUA3000RMI2U-NB) beeping and unresponsive - YouTube --> you might have to turn up the volume a bit to actually hear what I mean.
I got it secondhand and tried following the described procedure to start it (charging battery before starting it). It actually worked for a few days but one morning it was only making this beeping sound and became unresponsive to button presses. I tried searching the web but could not found something similar (perhaps I was searching with incorrect key words).
Anyone that has an idea? Or can I consider this device to be broken and just try and sell the battery (which was new)?

Hello,
I looked into and asked a Smart-UPS expert to review it and he is not sure of the exact failure mode but we've never seen something come back from this. I'd look into repair/replacement and try to get your money back on the battery. Sorry for the bad news
