Hi,

I have an APC Smart-UPS 3000VA which trips off when mains is switched on.

The batteries were fully charged when the problem first happened and so (for now) the UPS can provide power to the load. But when the 240v mains supply is switched on - the UPS switches off. All the LEDs come on for a short time before the unit goes off completely.

I have replaced the power cable, the breaker at the back - nothing obvious.

Has anyone experienced this fault? Any ideas?
