Hello -
If the UPS will not come out of bypass there are a few possible causes:
1) The UPS has experienced a fault of some sort, which is what has caused it to go to bypass. Is the FAULT LED lit on the front panel of the UPS? If so, which LED's are lit on the battery bar graph on thr right side of the display? Can you supploy data and event logs from the NMC?
2) The UPS was mistakenly left in bypass for an extended period of time causing the batteries to drain. From the network management card interface, what are you seeing for battery voltage?
It would also be helpful to know how old the UPS and batteries are. Do you have the exact model and serial number of the UPS and Battery packs?
Thanks
Liam

Good morning Mufeed, APC technicians, gave me email support and asked me to do a series of tests for soft and key combination of the panel. The results are sent to them and after a couple of tests, they told me that the equipment did not have a solution and that they would buy a new UPS. At the same time I was handling the support of APC LATIN AMERICA and they did not give me a favorable answer. I hope you have better luck than me. Bye.
