APC PDU AP-8653 Factory Reset

Hello all,

Recently bought some 2nd hand AP-8653 PDU's and one of them was not factory reset to defaults, so I am unable to configure it. 

I have tried the rest button (waited 10 seconds, etc) but that just seems to restart the management interface.

How can I factory reset the device?

You’ll need the RJ12 Serial cable as outlined in the full user manual following the instructions on page 18 and a paper clip.
