Have been going around for a while trying to get this management card to stop doing the watchdog timer reboot. I've set it to use static IPs as well as DHCP and can't seem to find any way to make it stop. How do I resolve this, or disable the watchdog timer? Firmware has been updated to v2.2.0.1.

Hello,
We've seen restarts like this on cards that were at one time running firmware version v1.6.1.1 or earlier. To fix it, after upgrading to v2.2.0.1 you can download the config.ini file, then format the NMC using one of two methods:
After the format, you can upload the saved config.ini file to preserve the settings that the format erased. For simplicity sake, I'd recommend using the reset button to format.

Thanks that did the trick! Actually this UPS is on a remote site so didn't have physical access. I was able to accomplish the same thing though by going in via SSH and doing a format command then a reboot.

Hi @MikeH,
The easier option was left out intentionally - we've noticed that if the affected file is deleted, or the card is formatted online (the method you've used while the card is running) - sometimes the issue returns, sometimes it doesn't.
Just something to keep in mind if the issue returns, or for anyone else searching this topic. If the shortcut works - great. If it comes back, it may need a heavier touch.
Thanks,
Shaun

Seems we're in "Heavier Touch" areas as we have the same issue...

Hi @MikeH
I have several UPSs at remote Sites and I am also facing the same issue with this network card.
Is the resolution to this problem still requiring physical access to the UPS?
