AP9631 not going into new smt750

Can anyone explain to me why this card will not go in to the unit? When you pull the faceplate off the back of the unit, and I am trying to install the AP9631, there seems to be some black brackets on either side. Now, one is opposite the other. The AP9631 I have has the openings for the tabs, but one of the openings is not big enough and the card will not seat right. Am I missing something here, or is this a design flaw? I had to rob a card off of my SMX1500RM2UNC that DOES fit to give to my customer. Please help me out with this, very,very frustrating.

hi erin.

you must have an early card with the incorrect faceplate. if you contact APC support via phone or email, just tell them you need a new faceplate for your AP9631. i'd also ask if you provide the serial number with it as well and we can send it right out to you.

i am sorry for the trouble!

in the meantime you can take off the faceplate to insert the card before you get the new faceplate.
