The firmware was updated through InfraStruxure to v5.1.7, the card is in a smart ups 750 (that's what listed in InfraStruxure I haven't not physically checked the device.)
After updating the firmware the card no longer sees the UPS.
Read a similar issue on another post here which mentioned the wrong firmware being applied, but I would hope that InfraStruxure would avoid that being a possibility.

could you please provide me the event.txt file from this management card to review (instructions @ http://www.apc.com/site/support/index.cfm/faq/ - article # FA156131)?
also, is anyone going to be able to physically be near this unit at any time incase we need to be there?

when did you upgrade the firmware by the way and from what version? i ask because the mgmt uptime is 3 days and the device would have been rebooted during a firmware upgrade.

After manually updating this device, it no longer says the ups isn't attached, but gives a very similar error.
" 1 Critical Alarm Present
Local Management-To-UPS Communication Lost"
