The scenario I have experienced for a long time is the following. There is a power outage at a remote site. Network connectivity is maintained. My email is overloaded with repetitive messages, ex: UPS on battery due to distorted input. The same message is sent every few minutes until the UPS shuts down or power is restored. In this scenario, all I want to know if when the UPS goes on battery and when operation returns to normal. Is there a way to eliminate the repetitive notifications in between?

Hi,
Open the NMC web interface and go to Configuration - Notification - Event Actions and depending on how you have the NMC configured open by event or by group. If set up for e-mail by group open the groups select the recipient and deselect repeat interval.

If configured by event you will go to Configuration - Notification - Event Actions - Events select the event and then the recipient and deselect repent interval.
