Hi,
We attempted to update both our NMC2 cards to the latest firmware. This is what was used:
The NMC2 cards are a AP9630 and AP9630J installed in two Smart UPS 1500VA LCD RM 1Us.
Both updates failed and the NMC2s are now not responsive. I tried doing a hard reset on them holding down the reset button (w/ paper clip) for 20 seconds. Based on the LEDs, the NMC2 cards rebooted but are still unresponsive.
What are my options at this point?

That is my next step. I found the following FAQ on how to connect to the serial port and access the bootmonitor:

However, I am still unclear on what the correct firmware to load is for the AP9630 used in a Smart-UPS 1500 RM 1U.
Can you please provide a link to the correct AP9630 firmware?

What you have is correct. SUMX stands for Smart-UPS/Matrix. We discontinued the Matrix many years ago but we still provide NMC firmware for those UPS that are still in use.
