I would like to have the confirmation that if I use the card AP9620 with an SMX UPS, the UPS will be ale to communicate to the AP9622 modbus jbus card

No, you can't do this.
We have Modbus supported directly on some SMT/SMX models. Today, it is mostly SMT models but SMX models will natively support Modbus over USB or serial communications soon. If you can specify the model SKU you have, I can check the status and verify the model will be getting Modbus via a UPS firmware upgrade.
Later this year, Smart-UPS products will also get Modbus support via AP9635/AP9635CH Network Management Card 2 via Modbus over serial or Modbus TCP.

AP9622 is not supported in UPS models beginning with SMT/SMX/SURTD/SRT unfortunately. Here are the list of compatible UPSs with AP9622 -> http://www.schneider-electric.us/support/index?page=content&country=US〈=en&locale=en_US&id=FA156127
