It is odd that the utility is behaving the way it is, then. Is it possible that you have a firewall or network issue?

If you are sure that there is no problem communicating with the device, you could manually FTP the update files to it. First, FTP the AOS file (the newer of the 2 with aos in the name in the directory you specified when installing the update utility). Once you log out, the device should reboot (could take up to 2 minutes). Then FTP the application to it (in this case, the file with rpdu in the name). Once you log out, the device should reboot again, and at that point you should be able to log in (wait a minute or so for the reboot to complete) and you should see the new versions on the first page.

Once you're running the new version, you may want to configure a time server on the unit (in the picture you posted, it thinks it is 2005) so you can easily compare event timestamps with real-world times.

Normally the upgrade utility will detect and handle old AOS versions automatically. The download includes AOS 2.0.2 as an intermediate update if the existing firmware is older than that.

However, it looks like the utility is reporting garbage for the AOS version installed on the device. If you telnet to the device, what do you see for the currently installed version (both AOS and application)?
