AOS 6.5 for AP9631

I have an AP9361 in an SMX1500RM2UNC and another in an SMT1500.  I am running 6.4.6 on each.  In the past, the download file I used was sumx646.  Going to the downloads for the network cards, I only see a sy646 file.

What is the difference between sumc646 and sy646 and which do I need?  Is sumx646, is there a download for 6.5.0 available for that?

Hi,

sumx and sy refer to the application version - you need the correct application for your UPS. Sumx is for Smart-UPS and Matrix (Matrix being a legacy UPS). Sy is for Symmetra single phase UPSs. 

SMX and SMT products are Smart-UPS products so you want sumx application for both on your AP9631. Yes, there is 650 available for that, part number SFSUMX650.

The 6.5 firmware has been removed as it does not meet the latest security requirements.
